The motor-mouthed Frank Gashumba real names Frank Malingumu Gashumba has today turned 46 years old and his daughter Sheila Carol Gashumba has penned down this sweet message to him as the best father int he world.
Frank Gahsumba, a social and political activist, motivational speaker and a businessman based in Uganda as well as a father is well known for his analysis’ about different matters in the country.

Who is Frank Gashumba?
Gashumba’s Early Life and Education
Frank Gashumba was born on December 3, 1974, in Villa Maria, Masaka District to parents of Rwandan origin. He’s a Ugandan of Rwandan origin.
Gashumba attended St. Francis Primary School in Masaka District, from where he attained his Primary School certificate.
He then moved to Aga Khan Senior Secondary School in Masaka, from where he attained his high school certificate.
From Aga Khan Senior Secondary School, Gashumba joined Nkumba University, and in 1996, Gashumba graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Frank Gashumba spent much of his early life in Masaka before relocating to Kampala in the early 90s, where he cut into Kampala’s Masaka clique, best known for its success stories.
In Gashumba’s story tells, he says his first visit to Kampala was when he was in Primary Seven. He was so much excited with Kampala City outlook, so lovely with so many lights, beautiful as they were.
Work and experience
Frank Gashumba began working in 1996, soon after his graduation. He first worked for Latter-Day Saints Church for one year and a half, thereafter, he embarked on his entrepreneurship road in 1997.
In 1997, he opened Mali Mixed Farm in Masaka. According to Gashumba, this was a kick-off start, to his long-awaited dream that would lead him to open a consortium of companies under Mali Group.
In 1998, Gashumba officially launched Mali Group of Companies which he morphed into courier, transport and mineral exploration companies and the agriculture arm.
In 1998, Gashumba founded Sarafina Safaris, a tour and travel services including skills development. Sarafina Skills Service, which offers job placements to job seekers in overseas employment.
In the early 2000s, Gashumba founded Bbunda Holdings dealing in mineral exploration that’s Gold and Timber dealership in DR Congo, including Iranda Holdings, a real estate company. However, he also served as a Chief Executive Officer, under Great Lakes Investments until 2001.
Still, in the early 2000s, Frank Gashumba mobilised funds for the surgery of Aisha Nabukeera who had sustained burns inflicted on her by her stepmother.Gashumba rescued Nabukeera, who was severely burnt by her stepmother. He rescued her, treated her and considered her as his own daughter. Though a numbery of good Samaritans contributed to her wellbeing, if it was not for Gashumba, no one knows where Nabukeera would be today.
