Presidential hopeful, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has responded to first son, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba who promised to ‘…beat him very badly in the polls.’
The first son, who also heads the Special Forces Command took to Twitter and downplayed Bobi Wine’s chances of becoming the President.
He said that it was an insult to the people of Western Uganda to baptize Bobi Wine ‘Musinguzi.’
In response however, Bobi Wine explained that Muhoozi’s remarks are in no way an embarrassment to him. Instead they are an embarrassment to Muhoozi himself and the UPDF.
“The real insult is that such a person wears our national uniform. It is such an embarrassment to the decent men and women in uniform who work hard to keep our nation safe.”
“My message to him? The few criminals you arm to murder and torture citizens will not be able to save you and your father when the citizens rise up to defend themselves.” Bobi Wine wrote on his social media.
Muhoozi has since then deleted the tweets from his Twitter handle after, according to Bobi Wine recovering from his drunken stupor.
