Gud Lyfe singer Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo ,has attributed his career success to his elder brother and fellow singer Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone.
Weasel made these revelations while speaking during recent Chameleone’s ” Gwange Mujje” press conference which was held at Fenon records.
In a video clip sited by our website stated that without Jose Chameleone ,he wouldn’t be what he is now,that Career together with his late brother Radio started in Chameleone’s hands that he can’t take it way .
Further said that Chameleone is the biggest stepping stone on his music career and that is why public see him still standing and giving them vibes.
“I couldn’t be here if Jose Chameleone hadn’t helped me with my brother Mowzey Radio. I remember our careers started in his hands and we can’t take away that from him. Chameleone is the biggest reason why you all see me here still standing and giving you vibes,”Weasel said.
It should be noted when Weasel was starting his music career as solo artist before forming duo with Mozey Radio,as young artistes who were dreaming big with out money to hit the studio to record a song even do any musical videos ,Jose Chameleone decided to help them and signed them to his music label Lenone Island and natured their music career .
And from there they formed their own music label Gud Lyfe as duo and since then they never pushed back as released a number of hits songs on which Ugandans jammed on up to now and also won a number of awards locally and internationally .
