Masaka- based tycoon Emmanuel Lwasa has come out and refutes allegations of dealing in fake gold after being re- arrested few days back.
Lwasa was nabbed following the allegations of forging the signatures related to gold mining deals.And was dragged to Jinja police station where he spent a day locked up.
Lwasa was however later released ,during his recent interview with one of local TV channel,he denied dealing in fake dollars and went mute the allegations that people in mining business are the one fighting him.
He claimed that he can’t talk about that issue on national TV.
In January ,Lwasa was arrested still over fraud and obtaining money by false pretense when he sold fake gold to a Chinese national ,later he was released on police bond.
