Solomon Serwanjja to Quit NBS TV After Being denied Salary Increment


Celebrated Journalist and BBC world Komla Dumor Solomon Serwanjja who has been a news anchor at the biggest media station which is NBS TV is set to quit the station.

According to close sources ,Solomon requested for a salary increment from station bosses but unfortunately ,it was turned down which has triggered him off to quit the station and focus on his African IIJ online show.

Solomon has been working with NBS TV as a news anchor for over six years .

Solomon waved goodbye to his workmates at Next Media through his social media platforms where he thanked the station boss Kariisa for support and opportunity to join next media family and by 31st of this month he will be ending his duties at NBS Tv

“On 31st July, I will be leaving @nbstv. It has been such an honour to serve for the last 6 years. Thank you @KKariisa and the entire @nextmediaug family for the support. I will now focus on my new role as the Executive Director @AfricanIIJ, the home of investigative journalism “,He tweeted.
