It is like merry days for former speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga in NRM is over after former government chief Ruth Nankabirwa has filed a formal complaint to party’s Secretary general over Kadaga’s conduct in recent concluded speakership race.
Nankabirwa claims that Kadaga breached the party code of conduct to go against party decision and stand against party’s selected candidate in last concluded race of speakership in 11th Parliament.
NRM code of conduct states that if there is prohibited behaviour and they lodge complaint to the party secretary general and you found guilty you either be expelled from party or fine.
According to Lumumba the party secretary general ,former speaker was sent notice to appear before the disciplinary committee after defying NRM party Position and Stand as independent in speakership race.
This development comes after Ruth formal complaint to secretary general on kadaga’s behaviour,she claims the party can’t allow kadaga to walk scot free after defying the party position in 11th parliament speakership race.
She added that Kadaga should come out apologise to the party CEE and president Museveni or else she will ask him to penalise her ,she revealed this during local radio interview.
