National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters have attacked Worship House lead Pastor Wilson Bugembe after he allegedly advised Bobi Wine to give up on the Presidential seat because Museveni defeated him already.
It should be noted that Yoweri Museveni was declared winner by the Electoral Commission with 58.64% of the vote against Bobi Wine’s 34.83%.
Fans allege that Bugembe said that Uganda saw peace after EC declared Museveni as President and not Bobi wine, he further advised him to accept defeat and move on.
“The country is at peace and that’s all we want,” said Bugembe during one of the services at his church in Nansana.
Bugembe’s utterances attracted all sorts of insults from NUP supporters allover social media. They advised him to respect Bobi Wine or else they boycott his Church.

However, Bugembe came out to clear the air about the above allegations and said that he didn’t utter anything like that any where. He explains that he was very careful of what he said during the elections so as not to upset anyone because he has a very good relationship with former presidential candidate Bobi wine.
” I love Bobi Wine and Barbie, and through this elections fever, it was so tempting to go political, but I always watched my words. I didn’t not at any point utter political words because i know how dangerous they are. That family is my great family, I never said anything against Bobi,” Given he noted.
