Police Speaks Out About Fred Enanga Resignation Letter

Police have trashed a letter making rounds on social media confirming  the resignation of the force’s spokesperson CP Fred Enanga.

In the letter dated 14 December, 2020, Enanga allegedly says that after 15 years of dedicated service to the community, he is ready to transition into a new role in a different environment.

“I’m sure Uganda Police will continue to work towards the betterment and protection of our community. I sincerely want to thank you for the advice and mentoring in the past few year. It has been a privilege to work with you,” Enanga’s addressed etter to IGP Martin Okoth Ochola reads on parts.

However, according to Police, the letter making rounds on social media is fake.

“#Fake news,” Police shared on its official twitter page.
