Singer Sheebah Karungi has been talk for days on social news after revealing that she was sexually assaulted by respectable public figure.
Though she didn’t mention name of the public figure something that created speculation about who harassed her.
It has raised a mixture of many questions and theories with some people feeling sorry for her while others questioning her allegations .
Among those who have questioned these allegations is the Kampala city lord mayor ,Erias Lukwago who wants the police to open up a general Inquiry File about Sheebah Karungi’ s allegations of rape.
Using his Facebook page has lambasted police claiming that why they not enthusiastic about instituting investigations in these serious Sheebah Karungi allegations of indecent assault.
Adding that crime of that nature are committed not only against the victims but humanity in general and that the police ought not to wait for a complaint to be formally registered before they commence investigations.
“Shocked that police are not enthusiastic about instituting investigations in these serious Sheeba Kalungi allegations of rape or indecent assault!!! Crimes of that nature are committed not only against the victims but humanity in general and police ought not to wait for a complaint to be formally registered before they commence investigations. They should atleast open up a general inquiry file.”,He posted.
But the responses from online- lawyers about his view are not what he anticipated as many implored him to stick to his docket- planning for the city rather than indulge in affairs of musicians.
