Day two of NRM presidential campaigns saw supporters, led by singers Bebe Cool, Coco Finger,Big Eye and Catherine Kusasira accompaning presidential candidate, Yoweri Museveni to Lira.
The president also met several youth and promised to secure their future once elected.
“Pitching our campaign agenda to the leaders of Lira District. I will also met the youth leaders on the same day. To the rest of our NRM supporters, we are running a purely scientific campaign because of this terrible pandemic. I implore you to stay safe, our different leaders will engage you at your respective grassroots structures,” the NRM chairman said.
President Yoweri Museveni said the government is committed to compensating animals lost in Lango during insurgencies and raids by Karimojong warriors at the start of NRM regime.
