Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, famously known as Bobi Wine has silenced his opponents who accuse him of obtaining his campaign funds from foreigners seeking to disrupt Uganda’s policies.
While appearing on NBS TV for an exclusive interview, the presidential hopeful revealed that his campaign funds are partly obtained from his Parliament salary and partly from Government officials who however prefer being in the dark.
He also explained that some of People Power funds come from diaspora Ugandans and his friends.
“The activities of people power are financed by my salary from parliament, and different support from individuals.”
“By the way, some of our funders are within government, just because they are doing it secretly since they are not ready to reveal themselves.” he said.
Several prominent Ugandans opposed to the People Power movement allege that Bobi Wine’s funds are wholly cashed in by foreigners who seek to promote homosexuality.
