Electoral Commission Boss Simon Byabakama has set rules and regulations to follow during the Presidential elections come 14th January 2021.
Byabakama has warned citizens against the use of Cameras, phones at the Polling station, he adds that whoever disobeys the rules shall be dealt with accordingly.
He further noted that voters will have to leave the polling stations as soon as they cast their votes on 14th January.
“During voting, no person shall use a camera of any kind or any recording device inside the polling station. We are looking at protecting the privacy of the voters who wish to vote in secrecy,” he said.
“Once you have casted your vote at 7:00am or anytime the election material is available, you should not keep around after casting your vote,” Justice Byabakama said.
