Nigerian Singers Omah Lay (Oman Dibia) and Tems (Temilade Openyi) plus their manager have been set free after a diplomatic agreement. They are anticipated to fly out of the country tonight, Celeb Patrol has learnt.
The three were arrested on Sunday for violating Covid 19 guidelines putup by Uganda’s ministry of health which include social distancing. Omah Lay and Tems performed at a concert organized by Uganda’s promoters which attracted a huge crowd of revelers.
Following the arrest and detention of , Omah Lay and Tems, other Nigerian artistes rallied behind them calling for their unconditional release.
Artistes lashed out at Uganda Police and it’s judiciary, pointing out that the organizers of the concert were to blame and not the artistes who were performing while negligent on the existing SOPs.
