Next Media has finally speaks out on Thursday night altercation between government Spokesperson Ofwono Opondo and Kampala city lord mayor Erias Lukwago.
Over yesterday viewers of the NBS were served with action packed – like movie when the political show turned into boxed ring of sorts as Opondo rained punches on Lukwago.
NBS TV through their the socials have issued statement about the unfortunate incident and also apologized to it’s viewers for having had to experience that content and ending the show prematurely .
They further said that still investigating the matter and shall take action to find an amicable resolution from their findings .
“we condemn the unfortunate incident that transpires on Thursday ,July 28 ,2022 ‘s edition of ‘Frontline’ our weekly political talk show- the incident violates our Editorial policy and the minimum Broadcasting standards.
We once again apologize to our esteemed viewers for having had to experience that content and ending the show prematurely.
Our teams are further investigating the matter and we shall take action to find amicable resolution from the findings.” ,Head of corporate affairs noted .
