Museveni Meets Religious Leaders, Promises To Upgrade Churches, Schools in Soroti

President Museveni has pledged to offer financial support to religious leaders to allow them upgrade religious institutions such as worship places and schools ahead of the 2021 General Elections.

Tibuhaburwa, as he is sometimes called met religious leaders at Soroti state lodge while campaigning in Teso sub region and pledged to support their religious institutions upgrade-wise.

“I held a meeting with religious leaders of the Teso sub region at Soroti state lodge. I delivered  to them a government pledge to support and facilitate the upgrading of religious institutions with particular reference to schools and worship places.” he wrote, while updating his certified bazzukulu of his campaign progress.

Mr. Museveni is seeking another term to retain the Presidential seat which will total his years in power to forty.
