Singer Measach Semakula has sided with Promoter Bajjo’s idea of increasing gate fee collection at concerts in and around Kampala .
A few days ago,events promoter Andrew Alfonso Bajjo aka Bajjo Events raised concern saying that concert gate fee at concerts within and round Kampala shouldn’t be less than shs20,000.
Among the artists who have welcomed Bajjo’s idea is singer Measach Semakula who said that he is in full support with Bajjo’s opinion.
According to Measach Semakula,noted that since everything increased ,ranging from prices of commodities at home ,even everything in the entertainment sector also went high in terms of books concert venue .
He further said that for someone to organize a concert in town, he needs a lot of finances to foot to the authorities as he broke down the expenses that they encounter.
He gave an example of Spice Diana’s forthcoming concert saying that she could have so far spent Shs100m but when her concert registers a mammoth gathering, people will think that she has made lots of money yet it isn’t true.
