Kampala City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) will host Rwanda club AS Kigali in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup, First round game in neutral ground at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
After an inspection of Stadiums in Uganda, CAF notified KCCA FC that MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo was not eligible to host this edition’s CAF games.
CAF accredited St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende and deemed it fit to host CAF games.
KCCA FC then hired St Mary’s Stadium Kitende for the return leg game against AS Kigali that will be on Wednesday 6th January 2021, 1600 EAT.
Late 2020, KCCA FC Stadium plans were approved by authorities and the club hopes to start construction of a modern, start of the art stadium early 2021.
KCCA FC has entered residential camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup game against AS Kigali.
The team entered camp on Saturday 2nd January and will start training at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende the venue of Wednesday game between KCCA FC and AS Kigali.
