Kampala Women MP and former Kampala lord mayor candidate Naggayi Nabilah Sempala claims that her husband Isaac Sempala slapped her in front of people during campaigns, which embarrassed and reduced her popularity amongst her voters.
In an application filed before Chief Magistrates’ Court at Makindye on 3rd of this month  2021, Nabilah claims that when her husband came back from Canada last year, he harassed  her house cleaner and guest, engineer Jacob Imbo.
Nabilah admits that she is married to Isaac Sempala but they have not been living together under the same roof since 2013 when her husband left for Canada.
Isaac Sempala is expected to appear before Grade One Magistrate Lorna Tukundane on March 19, to defend himself against the claims placed on him.
