“I was listening to everything before muzaata died”- Dr Hamza almost cries infront to Rema

It was a sad Friday last week after the death announcement of Muslim Cleric Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte who sadly succumbed to Diabetes and pressure according to reports.

His Funeral attracted almost all people from the Muslim Fraternity who went to see him off to heaven being that he was such an great pillar to the Muslims and Uganda at large.

Among these people, Singer Rema Namakula and of course her husband Dr. Hamza Sebunya were present to send off Sheikh Muzaata.

During Rema and Hamza’s introduction, Muzaata was present and he blessed their union after he applauded singer Rema for dumping Kenzo because he was not serious about their relationship. The couple became close friends with the Muslim leader after this.

However, speaking in an interview, Hamza revealed that he was listeni9ng to every bit of the last moments of Muzaata while he was at International Hospital Kampala (IHK).

“I was on my way to the theatre to operate on a patient so i was trying to communicate with my fellow doctors at International Hospital Kampala (IHK) and i had Muzaata through my phone at the time when his condition worsened. I believe i was one of the first people to learn that he had passed away because i was still on phone. I could not believe that Muzaata had actually passed away, i even failed to attend to the patient i was supposed to operate” Hamza said.

Rema on the other hand revealed that she was at the airport at the time of Muzaata’s passing and she could not believe it until her husband Hamza assured her.

“We lost our friend, confidant and Father, he was such a good person with a good heart, i could not believe that it was actually true that Sheikh had breathed his last. May God forgive him and strengthen his family and friends,” Rema said with alot of pain in her eyes.
