As blogger Fred Kajjubi Lumbuye’s Whereabouts and arrestĀ still sketchy, his father has cried for his son to be returned back home if not yet deportedĀ to face trial as it is alleged that he was detained in unknown custody for torture.
Lumbuye was arrested in Turkey few days back over unclear offences.
Lumbuye is a critic who uses his social media accounts to attack and criticise government officials in Uganda.
While having an interview with one of local TV station ,LumbuyeĀ expressed worry that his father might not be safe where he detained and pledged to authorities toĀ flow his son back to Uganda for trials rather than keeping in him foreign country without having accessĀ or any updates about him.
Even though many Ugandans in the diaspora have rallied their colleagues to petition Turkish government and United Nations to block any likely extradition of Lumbuye to Uganda but his father is opposite of their idea.
Over yesterday police spokesperson Fred Enanga said that they have 15 case files against him already and as soon as handed over to them, he will face courts of law .
