Gilbert Oulanyah Cautions Kyagulanyi Against Political Populism on Northern Cultural, Religious Leaders

Shortly after National Unity Platform principle Robert Kyagulanya’s visit from the religious and cultural leaders in Northern Uganda which Happened on Saturday, Gilbert Oulanyah, Kilak County Member of Parliament in Northern Uganda.

He has cautioned him to stop engaging cultural and Religious leaders in Northern Uganda in political populism

On Saturday Robert Kyagulanyi and other Political leaders in the National Unity Platform traveled to Gulu to condole with the cultural and religious leaders in the area.
They met with a number of MPs, the Deputy President of NUP in Northern Uganda among other people.

However, just after the meeting, Gilbert Oulanyah Posted on Facebook that Bobi Wine should leave the people of Northern Uganda to mourn their fallen leader in peace, instead of engaging in Political Populism.

“Has Bobi Wine delivered his alleged condolences to the wrong address? The late Jacob Oulanyah is buried in Omoro NOT in Gulu. If Bobi Wine is seeking for some relevance and significance in northern Uganda, he should not do so by tempering with the solidarity, unity and the love northern region and Uganda at large have demonstrated for the funeral of the late Jacob L. Oulanyah.” He added.

Indeed we all knew that going to Geneva to Bobi Wine is more advantageous than coming for the burial of our fallen leader Oulanyah. Bobi Wine must have full respect for our cultural and religious leaders by resisting from dragging and tagging them into his frivolous political populism.

How can Bobi Wine assert that he delivered his condolences to Gulu and not to Omoro? Bobi’s absence at the burial of Oulanyah has fully associated him with the NUP’s agents who danced like lizards and wizards at the hospital in USA where Oulanyah were for medical treatment. Leave our philosopher and philanthropist to rest in eternal solace please,” He stated.

Just like president Museveni, Kyagulanyi also didn’t attend Jacob Oulanyah’s burial which happens in Omoro on Friday.

Section members had promised to hound Bobi wine if he appeared at the burial of Jacob Oulanyah at Lalogi village in Omoro and instead scheduled to meet the Human Rights Council of the UN, and failed to appear for burial.
He upon return to Uganda on Friday night drove to Gulu where he met a cultural and religious leaders condoling with them upon the loss of their son.
