General Henry Tumukunde has appealed to his to be voters to forgive him if he happens to have wronged them while still serving in government.
Speaking to his loyalists while launching his manifesto in his home district in Rukungiri, the former security Minister explained that now is the time to unite and he is ready to work with anyone. No differences should endager the struggle.
“This is the time to change our country together and I am ready to work with those who have been in opposition 20 years ago and those who joined yesterday for the good of our country.” he said.
He begged his voters to cast their votes but stay at the polling stations to watch them being counted so as to avoid rigging.
“I am asking you to go and vote and then stay at the polling stations and watch your votes to avoid rigging.”
