In the Match played at the MTN Omondi Stadium,Lugogo, Express Football club shared the spoils 1 -all with the hosts KCCA,seeing Express progressing to the semi-finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on the away goals rules.
Express Football club booked their in the 2021 stanbic Uganda Cup semi- finals,” The Red Eagles” rallied to equalize the match away to hosts KCCA yesterday at MTN Omondi Stadium.
Following a goal – less opening 40 minutes ,the game rose to life in the 41st minute when KCCA’s Sadat gave the host a lead with an explicit beautiful goal from 25 yard into the roof of the net.
Express FC’s Martin Kizza Lubwama beat from the resultant kick and equalize the game in 8 minutes left on game after KCCA ‘s goal stopper Lukwago attacking and planking his hand in the face of Red Eagles player.
Now Express joined likes of Vipers Fc which knocked out Villa, BuL fc and Police in the semi-finals of Stanbic Uganda cup.
