Uganda’s budding music star Edirisah Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo is nominated in the same category of Best Afro Beats Entertainer with Africa’s music giants ; Diamond Platinumz ,Burna Boy ,Will Paul and Tems for upcoming international Reggae and world music Awards ( IRAWMA).
Under the theme Reggae Rise ,the 40th Anniversary of IRAWMA will take place on 7th ,May ,2023 in the capital of Jamaica – Kingston .
On Saturday ,Eddy Kenzo via his socials broke the of his achievement.
“Thank you at #IRAWMA Jamaica, see you soon.” he posted.
The nominees are in 32 categories and can be got on the event organiser’s website at www.irawma.com.
This marks the third nomination for Kenzo in these awards, the first coming in 2014 in the category of “Best African Song/Entertainer,” the second coming in 2018 for “Best African Entertainer” which he won and then this year’s nomination.
