Ashraf Kasirye, a Ghetto Media Journalist who was shot in the head by police is in the ambulance being transported from Mulago – Masaka where he got first Aid to another hospital in Kampala with Bobi Wine escorting him to ensure safety.
Ashraf, who is also a close aide to presidential candidate, Bobi Wine was shot today, reportedly on the head. He is currently being attended to by doctors trying to save his life.
“Comrade Ashraf Kasirye (Ghetto Media) has been shot. He is in a critical condition. Doctors are doing their best to save his life.” Bobi Wine posted on his Facebook page.
It should be remembered that Ashraf is one of Bobi Wine’s aides who accompany him amidst all the tear gas and bullets that normally follow his campaigns.
“I will never lie the world. You have my word on that. I will defend the truth.” Ashraf is quoted to having said during one of his interviews.
