Presidential hopeful, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine is currently canvassing for votes in Orungo county, Amuria District in Eastern Uganda. To reach there however, he had to run instead of using his campaign cars.
Bobi Wine explained that the venue , Orungo county that was assigned to then by authorities for their campaigns was 15 km away. When he saw his supporters running to the venue. He had to join them as any gentleman would.
“We were unable to access our supporters in Amuria town because the venue we got is 15km away. Many of the supporters decided to run there and I could not look on. I had to join them and we run to the venue. After all, I’m physically fit.” he boasted.
He went on to challenge his rival and incumbent, Tibuhaburwa Museveni to also emulate his example and run with his supporters instead of using cars and choppers every time.
“Mr. Museveni ordered EC to give little time for campaigning because he is a very old man and he can’t move around the whole country. We the youth can run on foot across Uganda but Museveni even using a car can’t do 20 districts. He will feel us.” Kyagulanyi told his Amuria supporters.
