Celebrated journalist and re-known Museveni supporter, Andrew Mwenda has admitted that he believes, presidential hopeful, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) can defeat President Museveni.
Mwenda, who has always been downplaying Bobi Wine’s chances of becoming Uganda’s next president explained that if elections are fair, Bobi Wine can win and consequently become president.
Andrew noted that the contest for Presidency is a contest of generations. Museveni is dealing with a new generation and should thus not undermine the ‘Ghetto Gladiator’ as he labeled Bobi Wine.
“Bobi Wine can be our next President in a Democratic contest. Museveni is dealing with a whole new Challenger (Ghetto Gladiator) with a whole new generation.” Mwenda said while speaking in a recent interview.
He explained that what he has seen for the past days of campaigns have opened his eyes and saved him from daylight ignorance.
