Uganda ‘s Security Minister Gen Elly Tumwine who also once served as army representative in 9th parliament has quickly dismissed rumour that he is dead that was circulating allover on social media.
Since yesterday, reports have been making rounds on social media alleging that the senior army officer is no more.
However, in his Facebook post, Gen Elly Tumwine told Ugandans to disregard the information, describing it as fake news that he is still alive and kicking
“Dear Ugandans, I hope you are doing well. Please disregard the Fake News circulating on Social Media announcing my death. I’m neither hospitalized nor ill. Have a blessed Sunday,” Gen Elly Tumwine posted on his official social media pages.
However, section of opposition supporters has been rejoicing over his death reports and some still insists that he is no more even after clearing the air about the rumors.
